Good Things by G.L. Morris

Good things come to those who have the power to wait

We suffer sometimes at life's leisure; extraordinary pain

Her twists and turns can burden us with cumbersome encounters

And mal of luck we tend to feel whenever these things happen

But lights they shine at darkness' edge illuminating hope

And freshened breezes blow down on us from somewhere up high

We only need to welcome them with happy hearts not sorrow

For in this strength we will be freed of malice in the end

So patience and good fortitude develop in these times

I know it’s hard but persevere and rise above it all

Resist the urge to buckle under, let your friends be comfort

Good things at last will come again and all of us will prosper
